2008
in the Mirror of Astrology

On
December 22, 2007, 06:07:46 a.m. UT, the Sun entered the Tropical
sign of Capricorn
Birth
is a very intimate affair. This is equally true for the emerging
New Year. The moment the Sun reaches the very deepest abyss, once
again it's mysteriously reborn. Every year around December 22, upon
its closest approach to the South Pole, the Sun stands vertical
above the Tropic of Capricorn. For the large majority of people
living on Earth's northern hemisphere this is the time when the
Sun touches the very core of Underworld - once again setting off
to be reborn into yet another cycle!
Astrology
knows for long that it's the beginnings which are holding the keys,
giving us insights into the potential energy of what's about going
to unfold. Beginnings are seeds – although deeply enclosed in a
protective shell, all there's needed for the plant to grow is contained
within the tiny seed.
The
moment of Winter Solstice is the seed for the New Year
What
a firework this year will be! The Sun backed by Pluto and Jupiter'
stamina, and the whole stellium scouted by Mercury and opposed by
retrograde Mars…!
Okay,
let's go step by step. Pluto won't be forming as close a conjunction
with any winter solstice Sun for the next 247 years! Pluto is the
ambassador of the galaxy. Although no more part of the major sequence
of planets, Pluto still holds a very special place. Pluto and its
large moon Charon form the only known planetary system, they're
a double planet, spinning around a common barycenter.
Since
the year 1930 when Pluto was discovered, humanity has broken through
countless frontiers. And as one whole humanity, we're just on the
verge of realizing something of such extraordinary importance, that
the “end of the world as we know it” – as the Mayans predicted eons
ago – won't be an empty hackneyed phrase anymore. Through a long
lineage of initiates the Mayans still were connected to original
galactic wisdom. The Mayan calendar
Tzolk'in is probably the last surviving relic from these distant
times when Earth was colonized by extraterrestrial intelligence.
They had brought this galactic calendar down to us, and seeing how
ever more people tune in to this galactic heartbeat is most promising.
So, in step with our gradually expanding perspective, aligning with
the Solar system and the cosmos at large, collective consciousness
is brightening steadily. It might seem that there's still long ways
to go, I myself have been doubtful until not too long ago whether
we will make the turn around before it's too late.
What
changed my take on everything was when I stopped listening to main
stream news! I realized that news have become one major way of controlling
people, keeping them encapsulated in a dark cloud. News are designed
the way they are, amplifying the negative, dark and difficult while
suppressing the good, wonderful and uplifting, of which there is
as much around if not more! Hourly news on all the many channels
are outright hypnotic, making our hearts heavy and our minds sad.
News are terribly depressing, dimming our creative enthusiasm and
tampering our joy for life. Not concerning myself with this heaviness
anymore, I find myself being much happier and way more open to share
my love and enthusiasm with whomever I come across.
So
let's get back to the subject. What I'm pointing at is that gradually,
in rhythm with our commonly expanding horizon, each and every human
being's access to collective treasures has been growing proportionally.
Building slowly but gradually through thousands of years, a first
big boost took place in the 11th and 12th century, when dying stars
in 1006, 1054 and 1181 were releasing immense amounts of cosmic
energy. And then we see yet another sudden acceleration in the 16th
and 17th century. At that time it was the exposure to two supernovae
explosions in 1572 and 1604, occurring within our close galactic
neighborhood that in hindsight could be identified as synchronistic
events inducing such enormous evolutionary acceleration. Think of
the Renaissance epoch with its rare yield of timeless art and literature,
clearing the path for the following scientific revolution. Think
of all the countless groundbreaking inventions, from printing press
to telescope, and all the many discoveries which gradually would
redefine our ancestors' lives. Once the pace was set, it seems everything
followed at its own accord, in spite all sorts of dark shadows still
lurking within human condition. However, one at a time, many of
these vengeful monsters already have gotten exposed – and if I may
say – even though there's still war and injustice, these blind spots
overall have become the far and few.
Only
a little more focused effort from our side is needed, taking 100%
responsibility for everything, opening our hearts and allowing the
intense fire of love to consume all fear and guilt. I just finished
reading Joe Vitale and Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len's book “Zero Limits”,
featuring the ancient Hawaiian healing art of ho'oponopono
– and now I am absolutely convinced that before long we will have
a hard time remembering on how dark a place this world once used
to be…
The
"Field" - readily available to synchronice with since
December 2004
Yes,
the Sun is at the center of our lives – and hidden behind it is
the “Field”, at this moment in time still quite elusive, but as
of December 2004 readily available to synchronize with in all its
vast and peaceful serenity beyond any understanding. But leat's
go one step at a time…
There
would be no life on Earth if it were not for our star's constant
outpour of immense amounts of energy. So as long as we're solely
concerned with physical levels of existence, the Sun answers all
our questions. However, with the two Voyager space probes by now
about three times farther out then Pluto, we literally are stretching
some new limbs out into the Galaxy, probing dimensions where our
Sun's influence is coming to an end, shaking its hand with the universe.
The two Voyager space probes, launched in the enigmatic year of
1977, have been an enormous success beyond any imagination. Their
flying by Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune has expanded humanity's
horizons in unprecedented ways. Now, since July 2002, these two
probes have started tapping into a region of space, where Solar
wind is buffered by interstellar wind. And probably within a decade,
if not way sooner, they ultimately will leave the nest of our star's
protective bubble behind, becoming our first galactic emissaries.
From
July 2002 to December 2004, Voyager 1 moved in synch with the Sun's
by then temporarily expanding bubble, surfing on the termination
shock wave, the chaotic diversion zone where the pressure of the
interstellar field all of a sudden offsets the Solar wind, making
it loose about 95% of its momentum. After more than two years of
uncertainty, on December 16, 2004, scientist were assured that finally
Voyager 1 had gone past that boundary of termination shock, crossing
into the heliosheath, which is an even larger bubble wherein the
Sun's and the Galaxy's emanations peacefully coexist. Voyager 2,
on a slower escape route heading southwards, broke through the Solar
system's skin into the heliosheath only a few months ago, on August
30, 2007 . It wasn't until this day that the plethora of data collected
by Voyager 1 was understood and started making sense. This was so
because Voyager 1's main sensing mechanism had been fried by Saturn's
strong magnetic field, while passing close in 1981.
As
I now have given you the scientific facts, let me share my thoughts
on what I see behind all of this. First I'd like to say that things
never just are what they appear to be; there's always more to anything.
We're living in a multidimensional reality, everything is mysteriously
interwoven with everything else, something still hard to grasp by
a world that mainly relies on its left brain's linearity. However
more and more holes are poked into this narrowing worldview, new
ideas and expanding concepts are seeping in. Contours have become
much softer already, slowly but steadily the narrow and rigid gets
watered down. And since we've been crossing over into the third
millennium – now with the feminine number two in leading position
– these changes have sped up dramatically. What started off with
chaos theory, fractals, parallel universes, synchronicity and the
like, has ever since come more into focus. UFO sightings and crop
formations are yet another piece to the puzzle – and latest trends
like remote viewing, quantum physics and the zero state "Field"
make it ever harder for the linear to keep it all together.
To
all those who have studied astrology it's a well known fact that
each time our Solar system's frontiers were pushed further out,
literally humanity's perspective expanded. And interestingly enough,
at the root of what started it all was a small technical invention.
When Galileo Galilei first applied the telescope to astronomical
observation, seeing Jupiter's moons, he had the proof that not everything
out there was revolving around Earth.
I
won't say it was the invention of the telescope that was forcing
the universe to reveal itself. Things are not that blunt and prosaic.
The workings of this space/time-continuum-bubble are a bit more
refined. At the core resides our consciousness, continuously re-inventing
that unique crossbreed of individual/collective dream, moment to
moment being reborn out of the void, the universal womb full of
infinite potentials. Only looked at in very dull light, or from
a blind spot, it might appear as if existence would unfold in linear
fashion. Otherwise it's not hard to grasp, paying attention one
sees signs allover - consciousness is the decisive factor. It initiates
and plants the seeds, which eventually will bear fruit. Consciousness
prepares the ground, creates the atmosphere, and allows for synchronicity
to kick in. Manifesting in myriads of unexplainable ways, synchronicity
then makes things fall in place – often mysteriously coincidental
or devoid of any reasonable explanation.
So
thinking of Voyager, already decades back, our collective consciousness
planted the seeds for the mind-bending revelations which eventually
will get us ready for all the lids been blown off, bringing along
transformation beyond imagination, nothing short of a quantum leap.
The
Voyager probes are likewise the sensors of our collective consciousness,
exploring into the galactic environment. These space probes are
the lenses which allowed Galilei to observe Jupiter's moons. And
watching these tiny specks of light revolving around giant planet
Jupiter was the symbol, the little indicator light, showing that
humanity had come of age, mature enough and ready for a journey
into uncharted space.
After
having accomplished more than anyone could have dreamt of, in January
1990, as a big encore, the Voyager twins got their last and final
assignment – to reach out into interstellar space, far deeper than
any planet or planetoid would reside, diving into the boundless
abyss of the universe. It is very interesting that Hubble Space
Telescope (HST) was launched in that very same year. HST has become
our cosmic eye, the most awe-inspiring bridge to our ultimate home,
the vast cosmos. Many of the images captured have become icons of
our times, bringing the incredible beauty and the countless cosmic
wonders right into our homes. And yet one other mysterious phenomenon
took off around 1990, pushing the limits of our reality beyond our
grasp. Year after year, large numbers of complex crop formations
have been found, leaving us devoid of any rational explanation.
The
Voyager probes are traveling between two worlds
By
July 2002, Voyager 1 began encountering the termination shock (TS),
the chaotic zone where the pressure of the interstellar medium all
of a sudden holds up against the Solar wind combustion stream. Only
after going beyond this demarkation line, entering the heliosheath
on December 16, 2004, things became clear, that Voyager 1 had been
riding the edge. Somehow the Sun still was holding on, not wanting
the space probe to leave its sphere of influence.
Looking
back, reflecting of what these two plus years between July 2002
and December 2004 felt like it strikes me that this was a time of
turmoil.
exploring
the juncture of two worlds, shaken through and about, and not knowing
of what really was going on!
The
heliosheath - meeting of two worlds: The one - represented by the
Sun, with its bright and radiant light, outshining everything, naturally
dominant and 100% extrovert... and the other - a yawning abyss of
spaciousness, threshold to the cosmos at large, allowing for all
the many voices to coexist, hosting crisscrossing emanations of
billions and trillions of stars, galaxies, nebulas, supernova remnants,
pulsars, neutron stars...

conception of the Solar bubble (Image credit: NASA)
The
inner spherical bubble represents the Sun's sovereignty, a globe
with a radius of about 100 AU, 100 times the distance Earth has
from the Sun. At the edge of this bubble, the Solar wind is tamed
by the counter pressure of interstellar wind, here it comes to understand
its limits, here it is defeated and has to surrender to something
bigger.
Up
to this limit the Sun is in control, enveloping and filling space
with its breath rushing out at hundreds of kilometers a second.
And it's by that steady sweeping pressure that the Sun keeps up
a unified and coherent field, binding all its many loyal subjects
together, holding them in one frame of mind, conveying its messages
and moods. At the same time by its steady outpour, much the same
way as a chicken takes its chicks under its wings, the Sun protects
and shields its planets from high energetic cosmic rays that are
wading in from the depths of the universe.
It
was after 9/11, which in my opinion was a last desperate attempt
to turn a situation which had gotten out of hand back around. But
they acted up too late, they didn't expect things turning on them
so quickly. 9/11 didn't produce the results they wanted, it didn't
suffocate a looming rebellion, it didn't break people's backs. On
the contrary, seeing the monster leap out in its blind rage made
us aware of the full scope of what's going on behind the scene.
9/11 made us more conscious, it left us stronger and way more determined.
However
at first we all were in shock. Everything was tremendously painful.
Dark clouds of hatred and fear were paralyzing the masses. War was
imminent, and there was tremendous suffering. However, as unrelenting
and brutal the powers in charge were acting, slowly but steadily
the voice of resistance grew. And by time the lie about weapons
of mass destruction became evident the tides had turned around.
Being so appalled, increasingly people overcame their fear and began
speaking their minds. By summer 2004, movies like Michael Moore's
“Fahrenheit 9/11”, or “The Corporation” contributed their fair giving
voice to what so many people were feeling.
And
then something else occurred, something altogether different – magical
if you will – giving a clue of the synchronicity Voyager 1 was transpiring…
Lynn McTaggert's book “The Field” on the zero state connecting everything
beyond space and time was published in June 2003; and another landmark,
“What the Bleep do we know?!” was first released in February of
2004, opening doors to answers beyond anything we could have hoped
for.
And
then, only 10 days after Voyager 1 finally had made it through the
last frontier of our Sun's empire, just barely gotten established
in the zone where the two worlds meet, adapting to this new feel
of overwhelming richness, bathing in the emergence of unlimited
possibilities, transpiring the ecstasy of being able of living in
both the worlds at all times, right then when it seemed a big window
had sprung open, mesmerized by such unexpected peace and deep relaxation,
right then we got hit and overrun by the most extensive tragedy
in living memory - the Tsunami of December 26, 2004.
On
some level this tragedy was allegorical. The vast and furious ocean
demanding its toll could have been the voice of boundless cosmic
forces showing off their raw and untamed powers. Just one year prior,
during that same period when Voyager 1 was flailing to free itself
from Solar limitations, in November 2003, Sedna was discovered,
90 AU away, at the fringe of the heliosheath, 90 times the distance
Earth has from the Sun. Sedna, named after an Inuit sea goddess,
is a cosmic messenger emerging from these deep galactic realms.
She was found being on her way back from a 12,000-year journey which
had her taken out to the literally astronomical depth of 1000 AU.
The
Tsunami – as terrible a disaster as it was had its own sliver lining.
No other catastrophe ever had brought humanity so closely together.
Everybody was shocked and deeply moved, trying to help in whatever
ways possible. And yet another disguised blessing came in the way
how these mainly poor people who had lost almost everything, still
had great hope and confidence in overcoming the crisis.
Everybody definitively got a chill out of this unprecedented calamity
– realizing on how incredibly precious life is. Honoring all those
who sacrificed themselves, we became aware that indeed we owed it
to ourselves to take life into our own hands and to enjoy while
it still lasts.
Since
2005, I have met so many people who have set out to take on the
initiative and straighten their lives out to the better, taking
responsibility for what is, and accept difficulties and challenges
as steppping stones towards more freedom, independence and abundance.
It
seems to me that Voyager is channeling the meeting of our Solar
body-mind with this galactic vibe of transcendence and collective
oneness. Since August 30, 2007, when Voyager 2 crossed that magical
line the signal now can be received in stereo, or three-dimensional
if you will. Seeing things with one eye only makes it impossible
to perceive depth, however with two eyes seen, resolutions almost
jump at us – things become obvious, there's no “if and when” anymore.
Closing
the circle I would like to come back to ho'oponopono – that most
powerful and wonderful method offering unlimited potentials to transform
this world into a paradise, within no time at all. Humanity is ready
for this – taking on 100% responsibility for our lives – genuinely
understanding that we are truly cosmic, that the entire universe
is within us; that this body-mind by far isn't everything we are,
but a condensation point where all lines are coming to meet.
Since
August 30, 2007 , two manmade objects are out in that zone where
the Solar and the Galactic coexist side by side, mutually and peacefully
flowing through each other, penetrating one another. These two Voyager
probes are archetypes, presenting themselves to be accessed, inviting
us to consciously get out there and attune to a reality which dwarfs
all of our day-to-day problems and concerns. It's time to
close our eyes, let our mind be still and bring the two worlds
together within ourselves, being human
and yet galactic . Relaxing to the rhythm
of our breath and connecting with our hearts, the inner space is
bound to expand beyond imagination. Deep within,
each one of us carries all the keys to the mystery.
We are fractals, exact replicas of the whole, holograms, created
in God's image. It's too easy to get deceived by our limited material
form. However going deep within, crossing the inner zero point we
will come to know that yes, we are infinite and all encompassing,
divine beings made of the stuff that holds the universe together
- which is Love.
